TPI Values
The Patriots Initiative is founded on the following core values:
Honor American Patriotism and Service to Country: We respect all Americans who wear our country’s uniform and honor the sense of duty and sacrifice that our service members have accepted. We will support them in times of peace and peril alike with our charitable financial resources, talents and time.
Act Selflessly: No work done by The Patriots Initiative is for the personal benefit or financial gain of its volunteer leaders, staff or donors. All contributions of resources, talents and time are dedicated to the benefit of the nation’s military service members, wounded warriors, veterans, and their families.
Respect Others/Collaborate: We celebrate our nation’s diversity and vast resources. We believe that respect for colleagues, partners, donors and the nonprofit service providers is the primary driver of successful, positive relationships and outcomes.
Integrity and Excellence: We understand the importance of our mission and the trust that our partners place in The Patriots Initiative. We honor that trust by acting with transparency and integrity.
Act Nationally, Regionally and Locally: We believe that it is the focused commitment, not the geographic range of the work nor the size of the operations of our partners, which is the most important determinant of its value.
Do The Right Thing: The Patriots Initiative is committed to the highest standards of ethical conduct and transparency. The reputation of this initiative is the cornerstone of its ability to act and to serve its mission. We are capable, careful, responsible stewards of the resources provided by our donors.
