THE PATRIOTS INITIATIVE provisionally accredits two additional nonprofits

Dec 22, 2017

Patriots and Paws (specifically the "Provisions for Patriots Program") and the Green Beret Foundation have been provisionally accredited to be included as one of the finest nonprofit organizations that improve the lives and wellbeing of our nation's military service members, wounded and fallen warriors, veterans and their families.

TPI will continue to observe and monitor Patriots and Paws and the Green Beret Foundation. Every 'provisional' member of the TPI Directory is re-evaluated again after six months to determine if they retain or change their current qualification status.

More on the new DIRECTORY additions:

Patriots and Paws (specifically the "Provisions for Patriots Program"): The Provisions for Patriots Program provides basic necessities such as furniture and household supplies to current and former military personnel in order to improve their lives and the lives of their families. This program serves Active Duty Military Personnel, Reservists, and Veterans regardless of income or discharge status. In 2016 alone, Patriots and Paws helped almost 1,000 families. Watch this video and visit www.patriotsandpaws.org to learn more about Patriots and Paws and how this organization assists the military community in the transition to civilian life.

Green Beret Foundation (GBF): The Green Beret Foundation's mission is to answer the call of the Green Berets and their families so that they can succeed in their next mission. The GBF facilitates assistance to our wounded, ill and injured Special Forces soldiers and their families by providing resources to ease the burdens of some of the financial hardships that arise in their time of need as well as improving the quality of life for the soldier and the family. To learn more about the important work of the Green Beret Foundation, please visit their website: www.greenberetfoundation.org.

If you are affiliated with a nonprofit organization that supports military service members, veterans or their families and would like THE PATRIOTS INITIATIVE to be aware of your program, please contact us. We look forward to learning about your work. There is no cost or fee involved.

With 2017 coming to a close, THE PATRIOTS INITIATIVE wishes you all the best of the season and thanks you for remembering our armed forces communities by 'Answering the Call'.
